  • Your own secluded creek with both shallow and deep-water swimming holes
  • A creek-side cabana with BBQ grill
  • Places to fish and a private mini dock with canoe
  • A spacious outdoor fire ring for campfire fun
  • Hiking trails
  • A location away from city lights providing unbelievably starry nights
  • Close proximity to year 'round events in Kerrville and Fredericksburg
  • and more!

 Keeping it Wild and Natural

Firewood is provided as part of your rental.  The OK-3 Retreat is a managed wildlife property, so please do not bring in firewood which may introduce harmful invasive pests and/or diseases that can affect our trees.

Fishing is permitted in the stream and fishing hole areas, however, we practice catch and release.  The creek has a variety of native bass, catfish, and perch.

No pets.

The cabin is fully equipped and includes:

  • A queen size bed, two bunk beds, and sofa sleeper
  • Linens, blankets, towels and wash cloths
  • Refrigerator, stove and oven, microwave, cofee maker, and all the cookware and kitchen utensils normally used
  • Dining table
  • Shower tub, toilet, and vanity sink
  • Hair dryer
  • Iron and ironing board
  • Fireplace and wood burning heater
  • TV with DVD player only (no network reception)
  • Stereo

The cabin and creek bottom are nestled below hills and a cliff so cell phone reception may not be reliable. There is no WIFI.

Take a swim, experience a limestone cliff by canoe, hike the trails, play a game of horseshoes, washers, or disc golf, enjoy a campfire, or simply relax on the cabin porch while watching deer, birds, and other native animals.
